Message from our Pastors
We thank you for your prayers and support during Jim's recent quadruple bypass surgery and recovery period. The meals, the snow shoveling, the transporting, the babysitting, and the prayers have made an the difference in the world. Our family has been lifted up and carried in the hands of God.
When you receive this Jim will have been home for about 2 weeks. Therapy and new lifestyle will be his focus for the next few weeks. I will continue to preach, teach, administer the sacraments and be here for you as your pastor. I have asked Dennis Conant and Mike Achom to assist me with preaching. I have asked Patti Friedli and her team to assist with bulletins and other worship needs. Joyce Weisse and the caregiver's team will assist me with visitation and home commun- ions. Carl Lehto will help out even more with property.
Please, if you have a need, if you know of someone who is wanting or needing a pastoral visit, let me or the church office know. Each of you are important to the ministry of Bethlehem Lutheran and the wider church. This is your church. Help us make it the very best by stepping forward, by volunteering, by lifting us all up in prayer. You make a difference in the life of our faith family.
Jim and I continue to pray for each of you daily. May your lives be blessed. May you be filled with the love of Jesus Christ. May you be open to the Spirit of God each and every day.
With Joy in being your pastors,
Jim and Jean Vargo
P.S. Come to Bethlehem and worship with us. It could be the bright spot in your week!
