Christ has Risen!! Alleluia

We are changed!! God broke into life and reversed everything. As God broke into the lives of the Hebrew people and freed them from slavery, as he broke into Abraham's life and set his son Isaac free, God has set Jesus free from the trappings of death. So also God has set us free from the trappings of death: injustice, pride, control, self absorption.

My dear friends and family God has rolled away the stone of impossibilities. We are linked to the death and resurrection of Christ in our Baptism we are filled with new life. We need not stay in the grave God has rolled away the stone of impossibilities and now we begin to live that new life ... a life of compassion and justice, a life of hospitality and grace, a life that follows Jesus. We are Easter people.

Talking about impossibilities, many of us were unsure if our house would be ready for us to move into prior to Easter. With the help of over 40 people our house has been transformed into a beautiful dwelling place. Thank you to each and everyone who helped with your labor of love, who provided lunches, who prayed for us during these weeks. It is wonderful to be in our own house, unpacking the boxes so that we can now make a wholesome home.

Thank you for your loving support. It was simply wonderful witnessing our faith come together in such an affirming way.
