Dear Friends,

Our holiday in the Upper Peninsula was outstanding. Time spent with the whole family enjoying the lakes, rivers, and nature's bountiful beauty was a gift that I wish all of us could not only experience but also appreciate every day. Sermons / reflections constantly filled my mind! I give thanks for the time away for reflection and renewal of body and soul. I hope that your summer holiday blessed you with new energy.

Our Bethlehem family continues our ministries with lots of new and exciting possibilities. I am delighted that we have a new member added to our team. Jamie Samuels, Director of Family Ministries, is another blessing called to be a vital link in living the Good News. I had the opportunity to share our vision with her and she impressed me with her dedication to the Gospel. She comes with a great deal of hands on experience not only with young people but all aspects of special Call. Jamie Samuels has

“walked the walk” and has not just “talked the talk.”  

October 29th will mark the one year anniversary of our Call to join the Bethlehem Family. Pastor Jean and I look back on a year that was filled with new beginnings. There have been so many positive happenings that they overshadow the "small" pains that come with relocation and new growth. With God's blessing and your continued support I look forward to another great year .
