From the Pastoral perspective:
God’s grace, peace and mercy to you from Christ your Lord and Savior!
Fall is almost here – a favorite time of the year for many of us. It’s the season for renewal. It is one of life’s most precious gifts – the opportunity and privilege to begin anew … to start over again ... to revitalize and change. That’s true of our lives in general and of the family of God called Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
I always look forward to Fall – perhaps because I grew up in New England and it was a very beautiful time of the year there … perhaps because I always associate Fall with the colors and the smells that only Autumn brings ... or, perhaps because summer is over and people who I have missed seeing are back to the routines of life and are back in worship again.
Fall in the church is always an invigorating time. It is especially so this year as we begin new programs and times and relationships all designed to bring us closer to our Lord and to each other. I hope that you will take advantage of these new times and programs and invite others to come with you.
God’s Blessings to each of you,
Rev. Daniel Deutsch, Interim Pastor
