Evangelism & Membership

Formed in 2013 from the merger of the Evangelism committee and the Membership committee, Evangelism & Membership was created to "stimulate and lead all members of the congregation in continuous study of the Gospel." The official description of the committee states that "from time to time, the committee shall endeavor to reawaken the spirituality of others who are as yet [unfamiliar with] the Gospel of Christ’s Church....and shall devote itself to deepening its spiritual life and that of the congregation in the context of its surrounding community." In addition, E & M is tasked with maintaining an up-to-date and accessible directory of members, promoting the ministry of Bethelehem in the community at-large, and providing welcoming materials to visitors and members alike.

How to best "stir up the spirit" of the Membership...and bring the saving grace of Jesus the Christ to others is the mission of the committee...  Chair Cindy Monroe welcomes your involvement in any way.

The committee meets the first Sunday of the month in the church office between Sunday services at 9:45AM.
