Proverbs 3:6

"In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

The last few months have been very trying times, not only in my life but in the world.  The pandemic seems to be slowly losing steam and finally getting back to more "normal" life and it's the same in my life.  The last few months I have dealt with several ups and downs (loss of a car, sick child, loss of relationship, etc.) but every time I chose to turn to Him things calmed in my heart.  I have dealt with things better these last few months than I have in years previous.  My anxiety has slowly started to calm and I feel myself finally being able to relax. When I read this verse, it made me think of how twisty and bendy and rough the road of life is when I'm not looking to Him.  When we look to Him though, the path becomes straight and smooth.  It's a daily reminder that there will never be anything we can't handle as long as we're following Him.
